Apparently some people think there are two smoke monsters, a Jacob one and a Beardo (aka Esau, biblical reference bla bla bla) one. This is why Locke sees a white light that one time, and Ben has the ability to summon the Smoke Monster.
I prefer to see Jacob as water instead of smoke (given his Spa Temple and all), and "Smoke On the Water" is a pretty good final fight song.

I'm quite impressed by how accurately you capture the general demeanor of Esau and Jacob so simply and elegantly. That's exactly the frown that Esau had on the beach in the opening scene of the Season 5 finale and the smile that Jacob had when he offered him a bite of his grilled fish wrap.
