I've had a lot of free time lately, so I've started re-watching everything from the beginning. I started this the week after the S6 premiere. What I'm finding is that with a few exceptions, S6 is tracking along nicely with S1. Now, some of that is definitely luck, as the number of S1 episodes I watch in a given week is anywhere from one to three, but somehow, the S6 episode that airs each week usually has a strong connection to whatever I watched from S1 recently.
For example, the first episode in each season after the premieres was Kate-centric. After that, an episode in each season about Jack. Then, an episode about Locke. S1 then goes on a three episode arc about Sayid, which only the most recent S6 episode seems to be Sayid-centric.
So far, that's where I'm at. The next S1 episode is about Claire, but the next S6 episode looks to be all Ben, so maybe my happy little convergence is at an end. Hmmm. I guess I'll have to motor through however many early episodes it takes to get to Henry Gale this week.
On another note, where the fuck is Sawyer?
Also, the episode I'm in will be episode 11 on April 6th! Watch for a blurry dude setting shit up on a (spoiler alert) stage. I don't believe I was setting up for Drive Shaft, but it is possible.
