1. Giacchino's score was really exceptional. I'm looking forward to re-watching this on a real TV with a real stereo soon.
2. Jack passing the torch to Hurley with an old Oceanic water bottle. Little bit of an environmental statement there, why not?
3. Kate's moments. "Christian Shephard - really?" and "I saved a bullet for you."
4. As Jack & Locke let Desmond down the cave, the tone of the hatch references was perfect.
5. The flashback scenes. In general, this is the laziest way to tug on the audience's heart strings. But since the whole point of the episode was explicitly to pull on heart strings, it worked.
6. The embrace of death and mortality as a part of life and faith. Prime time doesn't go there.
7. Ben's redemption.
8. Real Locke's smile in the hospital.
9. The literal cork in the bottom of the cave. Not quite redemptive of the "mythology dump" episode, but consistent enough to be appreciated.
10. The Ajira Airways takeoff - uplifting!.
Bonus! 24. President Taylor threatening Prime Minister Hassan - "I'm going to set your country back DECADES," and Hassan still walking out.
